About
I come from a small Lithuanian fisherman village, a place of beauty and tranquility. From early childhood I knew that I wanted to follow my father’s footsteps and be a painter, but became a graphic designer instead. During my studies I discovered the magic of photography and it’s become my main passion as well as the source of living. In my mid-twenties I decided to travel the world and relocated to the UK. Big city, different culture, rush, love, highs and lows … life is spinning like a carousel and just photography is my only anchor of slow motion.
I love to search for harmony and explore the diversity of simple things around me, no matter what the objects are, no matter what the place is. It can be the scenery of a land far away, the quirky shapes of urban spaces, pleasant floral beauty or perhaps minimalistic lines of human body. I stay open and curious about everything life places around me.
My work doesn’t have a secret agenda and my goal is to create enough mystery for every viewer to open their own world of imagination to discover different stories within. It’s like a puzzle of main design principles: take one element out of the frame and the concept will change.
